Performances

As the only certified Irish Dance School in West Tennessee, the dancers of Inis Acla are often asked to perform in public venues, ranging from St. Jude's and Le Bonheur's children's hospitals to St Peter Villa Retirement Home and the Collierville Rehab Center; from Girl's scout "thinking days" to onstage with the Chieftains , and Eileen Ivers; from private parties and weddings to local TV stations. The vast majority occur in March around St. Patrick's Day, and all dancers that have started "figure classes" are asked to participate.

        It is at dance outs that dancers become ambassadors of the art, sharing their unique talents with an enthusiasm that captures the imagination of their audience. For those dancers that are shy and leery of the stage, dance outs give them an opportunity to practice in public and help them get over their jitters in open, friendly, interactive settings. And for those that love the stage - they get an opportunity to shine.
